Terminal Facilities
Fluor is providing procurement, construction and construction management services for the Sunoco Logistics Mariner East 2 project at its Marcus Hook Industrial Complex on the Delaware River in Pennsylvania. Upon completion of new terminal facilities to store, chill, process and distribute propane, butane and ethane for domestic use and export, Mariner East 2 is anticipated to provide up to an extra 275,000 barrels-per-day of natural gas liquids (NGLs) for distribution.

Fluor’s scope has expanded to procurement, commissioning and construction by leveraging our integrated solutions approach.
Client's Challenge
Terminal Facilities
The Marcus Hook Industrial Complex includes terminal and storage assets and related commercial agreements. The facility can receive NGLs via marine vessel, pipeline, truck and rail, and can deliver via marine vessel, pipeline and truck.

The Marcus Hook Industrial Complex currently serves as an off-take outlet for Sunoco’s Mariner East 1 system. The Mariner East project transports NGLs from Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Eastern Ohio to destinations in Pennsylvania, including the Marcus Hook Industrial Complex. The project footprint covers 19 acres.
